As of January 2017, Marianne Motha’s professional practice will be devoted solely to her mediation work.
Marianne received her B.A. from York University in 1999 and her LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 2003. She was called to bar in 2004 and practiced in the area of plaintiff personal injury for 3 years and practiced for 9 years in insurance defence litigation.
Marianne’s experience in both plaintiff and insurance defence litigation has given her a unique and balanced perspective in terms of analyzing a claim from different angles.
She has interacted with personal injury and defence lawyers and clients from several different insurance companies during her twelve years of practice and has developed a reputation based on a personable approach, integrity and fairness.
She offers an informed, focused and cost-efficient approach to mediation and looks forward to managing her clients’ expectations in a productive manner.
